b) Watch or read the Marissa Mayer interview. Write a paragraph or two, on four points made by Marissa Mayer, that you think were the most interesting or significant for business.
The first point I found interesting was that there is over a trillion URL’s out there. I knew there was a lot but not that many. The second point I found interesting was that google are wanting yahoo and Microsoft to do well so then they have good competitors to strive to beat them. This also leads to google not wanting Microsoft to take over yahoo as it would lose a competitor.’
The third point I found interesting was that android for touch screen mobile phones was invented before apple introduced the iphone. Everyone thinks the touch screen generated from apple, however android was though of first. The fourth point I found interesting is that credit card companies can know up to two years beforehand that you will get divorced with a 98% likelihood. This information helps narrow down possible people that may become credit risks. They can figure this out due to the items purchased and other stuff like that.

- The here web – which is the web wherever you go eg. Mobile phone, iphone, ipad
- The far web – which is where you watch a dvd on TV with surround sound using a remote.

- The B2B web – the business to business web where computers are hooking together to automate information
- The D2D web – the device to device web eg. Building sensors such as security
b) Could there be more?
I believe there could be more webs out there which will get created as the technology evolves as anything is possible with technology these days.
c) What does it mean for business?
It means that businesses will evolve over time due to these new technologies with these webs which leads to ne materials and new procedures being evolved from this new technology.
